City of Nova Sintra, February 23, 2026 (Bravanews) - Residents of the Parish of Nossa Senhora do Monte contacted Bravanews to report persistent problems with mobile phone network coverage and internet service, a situation that, they say, has caused disruption to the community's daily life.

According to residents, the signal is intermittent, with frequent drops and periods of instability. The internet, in turn, becomes extremely slow, especially during the day, hindering essential activities such as remote work, online studies, and basic communications.

“There are times when we simply can’t use the internet. During the day it gets very slow and that ruins everything,” reported a resident, emphasizing that the situation has been dragging on for some time without a definitive solution.

Regarding mobile phone service, the complaints are even more forceful. Residents claim that signal failures are constant, compromising calls and messages, and generating concern, especially in emergency situations.

The population is appealing to the operators and competent authorities to strengthen coverage and improve the quality of services in the parish, considering that stable access to telecommunications is now an essential service for the development and well-being of communities.

So far, residents say they are waiting for concrete actions that can put an end to the constraints.
